We start with a ICT Health Check
This is to ensure all the free tools available to the school are turned on and being utilised.
This includes:
- Ensure Google Workspace for Education Plus set up and actively being used
- Ensure Google Chromebook Management is set-up correctly and being utilised
- Enable Office 365 / Minecraft Education is available with SSO into Google
- Enroll all staff devices are connected with RMM tools for easy remote management for when support is needed quickly
- pcMedia Service Desk Ticketing System so that support is there when anyone needs it
- Enroll school in conditional access / content aware access for greater security
- Review wireless network is optimised
- Check permission structure on files (ensuring correct people can access files)
- Back-up staff computers (to either Google Drive for Desktop or OneDrive)
- ICT Review of hardware and software being used.
Our goals are to:
- Ensure your school is using all the Google Tools provided free of charge
- Ensure your school has enabled Microsoft Education Tools including Minecraft
- Ensure that your school’s security conforms with MoE’s base standards
- Ensure your team has access to an ICT Helpdesk to promptly resolve any issues or concerns
- Ensure that within 3 years your school will be compliant with the Schools Cloud Transformation Project at no additional cost
- Ensure your school has an ICT roadmap and a 3 year plan.
