Blenheim based, Lee has been working for pcMedia for over 15 years and has been in many roles including Server Technician, Network Engineer, Sales Manager and Managing Director. He has now settled on being a “Cloud Evangelist” and typically works across our larger clients assisting them with optimising their cloud experience or migrating to the cloud. Other skills include being a nuclear physicist by trade, a trained chef and also one of our Microsoft Global Training team and Minecraft trainers.
Delia recently joined our Wellington team to take on the role of rounding-up and polishing our policies and procedures, health and safety and HR. Delia brings to the team strong organisation and governance background, and is often found tidying up the chaos caused by Lee. Delia has been involved in the IT sector for over 20 years and her other skills include project management and account management for our larger projects and Wellington based clients.
Kiri has been part of the Blenheim team for over 15 years. Her role has grown with the business and now has the grand title of Operations Manager. This means she is in charge of all the technical team organising their daily calendars, having oversight of our helpdesk and making sure the technicians work meets our clients expectation. Other part of her roll include making sure we have the right stock to support our clients, as well as overseeing the accounts and invoicing side of the business.
Adam is part of our Tauranga team and leads the education sales team from the Bay of Plenty. Adam account manages all our education clients from Taupo north so spends a lot of time on the road as well as assisting the rest of the team with quotes and sales information for schools. He is also in charge of marketing and media, including being in charge of this website, so any complaints about this site you know who to contact.
John has been with pcMedia for nearly 10 years, he accepted the job from a series of skype job interviews from Scotland and migrated with his wife and dog to sunny Blenheim and never looked back. John has been working with our business clients since his arrival and has recently moved into a technical sales role to support our business clients across the Top of the South. Other recent promotion includes being a fire warden for Blenheim HQ.
Koen is one of our senior technical team, based out of our Nelson office. He spends a lot of his time travelling the country overseeing and planning the migrating schools to the Cloud as well as working with businesses in Nelson. His idea of relaxation is to head out over the weekend to his hut in the bush with no cell coverage or electricity, the GPS co-ordinates of which are a closely guarded secret.
Zoe lives in Motueka and works as part of our Nelson team. Her time is split between supporting schools in Nelson, providing helpdesk support nationally to schools and business as well as travelling the country as a team leader assisting with schools cloud migrations.
Rebecca is part of our Nelson team and supports our schools and businesses in Nelson. She has been part of the team of several years, starting in Blenheim in a reception role, then moving into accounts and then after training to be a technician shifting to the technical side of the business.
Vince is based in Kaikoura and has been anointed as the pcMedia “king of KAMAR”. Vince works remotely supporting our helpdesk and answering support calls from his Kaikoura Office so if you phone in you will often get to speak to him. Being our “king of KAMAR” he is in charge of all things file-maker and spends his evening running updates on KAMAR servers nationally.
Adrian Pedersen Senior Support Technician – Blenheim
Adrian migrated from Palmerston North to the sunny town of Blenheim over 5 years ago, and is one of our senior support team based in Blenheim. He is focused on the business support clients and is a Medtech specialist and therefore supports the majority of the health practices in Marlborough.
Doug has been a part of the Blenheim since his return from Sweden over 10 years ago. He spends his time supporting our Blenheim schools and also creating and maintaining the automation of processes using SharePoint and Power Apps. As well as being technician Doug is also a talented jeweller, creating bespoke jewellery for staff and clients (see https://www.swiwi.kiwi/).
Gary Glover Senior Support Technician – Southland/Otago
Gary joined us in 2019 and now leads our Southland and Otago support team and is based out of our Invercargill office. Working across both schools and business in the region Gary provides support and account management for our clients. Being from Liverpool UK, Gary doesn’t notice the weather down South and being a Liverpool supporter nearly always comes out top on any conversations around football.
Ezra joined us in 2017 as part of our growth in the Auckland region and now leads our Auckland based support team looking after our Auckland based clients. Ezra is also one of our senior network technicians, so if your wireless goes on the blink Ezra will probably have had a hand in getting it fixed.
Michael joined our Palmerston North team in 2019, is one of our Microsoft Trainers supporting schools predominantly in the lower North Island. He provides support, account management and sales across schools in the region, as well as being a great wordsmith and having creative input into the organisation.
Peter is a fully registered teacher with 35 years experience who joined us in 2016 to deliver training to schools on behalf of Microsoft and is still with us. His background in curriculum, pedagogy, e-learning and IT enables him to support both technical and pedagogical aspects of ITC. Based out of Kaikoura, Peter is one of our Microsoft Global Training Team and provides PLD and training to schools and business on how to use a range of cloud platforms, but specialising in Microsoft Office 365. He is often on the road with Koen and the team assisting with school migrations helping to translate between technicians and teachers.
Adam has returned to the pcMedia Blenheim team after a 3 year hiatus as a fully-fledged technician. Now supporting our Blenheim schools and businesses with on-site and remote support. Having Adam back in the team has dropped at least 20 years off the average age of our Blenheim technical team.
