pcMedia started in 1993 selling floppy disks out of a garage in Blenheim.

In 2010, pcMedia became an early adopter of cloud technology, winning a Microsoft award in 2012 for work in the health sector and two more Microsoft awards in 2016 and 2017 for work in education. Since then, pcMedia has become a national company supporting both business and education clients, from Northland to Invercargill, whilst proudly retaining head office in Marlborough.
